The biggest new thing in V6

All the modules together, in just one firmware

In V5 the modules lived in the same memory as the firmware, which is small: only a few fitted. To have more you needed multiboot: several firmwares in the radio, one at a time, switching off and on again.

In V6 the modules have a memory all of their own, 13 times bigger. All 35 fit in it, and you call them from the menu without restarting the radio with a different firmware.

No multibootJust one firmware. You no longer prepare different firmwares and you do not restart the radio to change.
You change from the menuYou open a module, close it, open another one. With the radio on, without waiting.
